[ Action for Goldenrod City ]
[ With (1) Ken Amada awake from his week-long nap, upsetting stories about the future shared, a few hours' worth of sleep invested in, and an altogether crazy weekend past, Miles Edgeworth is finally sinking back in one of the couches in the Goldenrod Hotel's lobby. It had been one long, exhausting week, especially with three crying women (or two crying girls and one crossdresser) to attempt consoling.

[ He rubs his face with his hands, a gesture he picked up from Merlin over the months - and as Pip the Growlithe crawls onto his lap for a quick nap, and a young Eevee (unnamed, because she has absolutely hated every name Miles has tried so far..) walks over, regards her trainer a little haughtily. She nudges him until he folds up the jacket he'd taken off, and it's only then that she settles on the pillow and curls up to sleep, as well. Miles regards her with one raised eyebrow and a mutter under his breath that suspiciously sounds like, "almost just like Franziska."

[ Pulling his Pokégear out of one pocket, he lightly scritches Pip behind the ears as he flips open the gadget, eying the date on the screen. June 24th was still almost a month and a half away... but that doesn't stop him from taking one deep breath and turning on the Pokéconnect.

[ It's been awhile since he's directly addressed the Network, actually, and longer since he's asked the Johto inhabitants a question. He's been getting used to being self sufficient, but for once - this once - it can't be avoided. No amount of von Karma tutelage could help him with this, so he starts typing.

[ And then one message will pop up in the Johtonians' inbox today: ]

I just want to be able to play better. Ken is really good at playing.. but it's probably not so fun if he has to teach me constantly.

I'm at the hotel right now, in the lobby.

[ ...Souji Miles isn't that fragile. Or clumsy. ]

[ Souji just needs to tell his employees that he's going to out for a bit, make sure just to put away a few of his papers to fill out later, AND OFF TO THE HOTEL LOBBY. ]

[ It should only take about fifteen minutes before he arrives and waves to Miles once noticing him. ]

[ S-SOUJI DON'T COME HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF WORK--

Miles waves back and trots over. ]

[ IT'S HIS OWN BUSINESS. HE CAN DO WHATEVER HE LIKES!! That and it's slow today. Merlin can watch the place with Yosuke. ]

Do you have a soccer ball on you? [ Or do they need to go buy one? Souji has some spare change here. ]

[ ...Merlin and Yosuke sound like a disastrous pair to keep watch. IT'LL END UP LIKE "HOW DOES I COOK CHICKENS" ]

I-I do.. [ Well, it's technically Pip's, but Miles has been using it to practice. /)___(\ ]

[ I-- Souji is going to start regretting leaving those two alone... He knew he should have asked Lizzie to stay a bit longer to watch shop! ]

Alright, we can head over to the park to practice then, if that's fine with you. [ and Souji can shove Miles onto the swings again. ]

[ Oh, Souji. Oh Souji. Miles will feel kind of bad for you ;; ]

That's fine with me. [ He's very carefully picking up the Eevee still sleeping on his jacketpillow (if he wakes her up, she'll bite :c ), and Pip hops down to follow.

[ Oh God, Souji will go back to the centre and it will be SUDDENLY ON FIRE. ALL THOSE BABY POKEMON ;A; ]

[ Souji motions to head out of the lobby, noticing the Eevee. ] Didn't know you've had an Eevee. Get her or him recently? [ Maybe Souji can release like... all of his Eeveeultions later to play with it AND HECK YEAH SWINGS. GONNA PUSH YOU SO HIGH MILES ]

[ Miles adjusts his hold on her, making sure she's comfortable. ] I received her egg on Easter morning.. she usually likes to stay inside, so not many people have seen her yet.

[ Eevee is a tsun. A REALLY BIG TSUN. SHE WON'T WANT TO PLAY but she secretly will ;A; ]

Not really, but she acts a little like my sister. [ ...which means trouble. ]

[ He's too busy saving Maya and teenage girls. 8( ]
