Plus plusle! [ The cheerful cry of Miles' Plusle that rings out on the network today is accompanied by an equally cheerful and grinning Remus waving something small, purplish, and shiny in front of the camera. Any Pokémon watching the feed would be able to understand his cries of excitement to be "Look! Look guys we did it!"

[ It becomes obvious what exactly Remus was so delighted about in just a few moments, as when he finally calms down a little and stops waving his arms crazily it's now possible to identify that purple blob he was holding to be...

a Fog Badge!

And does Remus look proud, though standing a little behind him is Miles' unnamed Eevee - unnamed still because she absolutely loves giving him a hard time and is picky about her own name, and doesn't like any that Miles suggests to her - who looks unimpressed. ]

Vee... [ She's so unimpressed - "What are you acting so proud about? It's not like you even-- " But Remus isn't listening as he goes on and on. ]

Plusle! Plus! [ "And then we fell down into that bottomless pit thing on the way back, and now we're going to go to the onsen and the ladies at the inn helped us put these on--!!"

These by which he means the yukata he has donned. A short distance behind him and the Eevee, a small group of Miles, Ken, and Romulus the Minun are watching the hyper Plusle bounce around. Miles is looking pretty calm, but he also looks better than his last video post... a little more self-assured, or a little proud. He and his Pokémon did win that badge after all. ]

Let's go, Remus. Make sure you turn off the camera.

Pluuuus! [ Remus needs no second reminder to get to the baths. In his excitement though he forgets the second part of Miles' commands, and he leaves the camera recording when he scampers after his trainer and his trainer's best friend.

Way to go, Remus. Jason the Cubone slips on-screen just for a moment when he, being more responsible than the Plusle, reaches up to turn off the Gear, but not before-- ]

Plugh!

[ Remus is shown tripping on the hem of his yukata in his haste and he goes falling flat on his face.

And the feed finally cuts. ]

But I am inclined to agree. After all, you have achieved that badge. It could not have gone better.

[ He lifts a smile, then. ] I'll take it as a compliment.

And what might be your plans after this, Miles Edgeworth? I suppose you will be collecting the other badges, now.

No matter where it is we'll be headed to next, my Pokémon aside from Pess and her pup need more training if they are to battle.

Though you may be my brother, I will show you no leniency. I will treat you as I would treat all of my rivals -- therefore, if you lax in your training, then it is only natural that I would defeat you.

On that note, you are currently situated in Ecruteak, are you not? You should describe the city for my benefit.

Haven't you been here already?

... Ecruteak is an old-fashioned located between the fields of western Johto and Mt. Mortar. It's a historical city; all of its architectures are built in an old Japanese style - similar, namely, to the customs of the city of Kyoto that I've read about once. In that city to preserve an air of tradition and humbleness to the country's deities, the roofs of the city are all brown. It is a similar case in Ecruteak, even the Pokémon Center's usually red roof is brown here.

The city here.. it also is known as the centerpoint of the legendary Pokémon native to Johto. I've yet to speak with the monks here extendedly, but the two towers in this city have a significant value here.

Of course. However, I did not stay there for any length of time, nor did I particularly wish to.

Ah, it is diligent of you to mention the towers, which many have spoken of. And what do you make those legends?

One is said to be a place of awakening, the other a place for rest, and two Pokémon. Over a century ago, the Brass Tower burned down, and three nameless Pokémon were killed - then resurrected as three legendaries.

... I won't credit or discredit this tale. In a world like this, it wouldn't be a surprise whether this was actually true or simply a myth.
