The wind is really picking up today.

[The first post in quite a while. Between his part-time job and the increasing number of Pokemon in his small travel group, he'd forgotten about posting with the gear for a few weeks. Even today, he'd only been viewing the network before his attention turned to the growing snowstorm outside and a curiosity struck him.]

It never snowed in the city where I grew up. [~~sans game 2 case 3 and Hazakura Temple~~] Winter doesn't get this cold in southern California.

... How was the weather like for everyone else's world?

[Clover smiles gratefully. So does the Pikachu.]

Thanks. It'll help Ion a lot. [She steps inside and quickly shuts the door behind her. After that, she crouches down, unzips her jacket, and frees Ion, who runs off toward the general direction of her room.] And me. How's things?

It's toasty here. I'm taking pleasure in the comfort.

Did Ares help with that?

[That Vulpix is so handy RIGHT NOW. Anyway, Clover takes her scarf off.]

[He points to the corner of the room where there is a pile of Arcanine and Growlithe.] Him too, though. We have a lot of fire types here.

So I noticed. And a lot of furry types.

They're nice, and warm.

They sure are. [She watches Pixie, her tiny Eevee pup, try to hide herself among the Arcanine and Growlithe, and she can't help but giggle.]

Even Pixie thinks so.

[The firedogs will let Pixie join the huddle. :|b]

There's water in the kitchen.

[Pixie likes the huddle. It's warm and furry AND HER FATHER WON'T FIND HER NOW.]

Thanks. I'm gonna need that hot chocolate even if we've got all the warm and fuzzy in here.

[Certainly an awesome game of hide and seek.]

I hope you don't catch a cold.

I won't. [Clover walks into the kitchen, oblivious to a Vaporeon walking in, clearly looking for a certain bitty Eevee completely hidden and very, very warm.]

[Miles will chuckle and watch the Vaporeon.]

[Scoville/Neptune is now checking under chairs and tables, and when he's done, he'll be walking to the pile of fire dogs.

Meanwhile, Clover will be making herself a nice mug of hot chocolate in the kitchen, humming to herself.]

[Pess will lift her paw to show him the Eevee in the pile.

Miles will join her there! He sits himself down on his usual stool to sip at his tea.]

[OH NO COVER BLOWN Pixie tries to dive back into the pile, but Neptune has already seen her and will chase after her.

...the water cat/fox/whatever better watch out for the fire, though.

And Clover will wave at Miles while pouring the hot water. As carefully as she can, mind.]

[The Arcanine and Growlithe will roll over to make sure the Vaporeon is all right.

Miles raises a hand in greeting!]

[But before the Vaporeon could take another step, Pixie suddenly shoots out past Pess and straight toward the kitchen. Neptune follows, takes a running leap, and tackles his daughter on the floor. They roll into the kitchen, still playing around.

When Clover's done pouring and mixing, she'll blow first on the hot chocolate and look at Neptune and Pixie over the rim of her mug with a smile.]

Y'know, I've been thinking of what I want Pixie to evolve into, but at the same time I'm happy letting her stay an Eevee.

[Miles is chuckling. Pokémon antics are the best.]

I think it's okay to wait until she voices an interest too.

[Clover giggles as Pixie manages to evade - and gain the upper hand, pouncing onto her dad. He doesn't seem to mind, and is actually pretty proud.]

Yeah, she hasn't said anything yet. As far as I know - unless she's been keeping secrets.

[He nods, listening, but he's just watching the vee pair.]

[They're both pretty full of energy, just rolling around in the kitchen.]

I mean, at this point, it could go either way. I have Ion for my electric type, and Ares for fire. I already made Neptune evolve into a Vaporeon, Light is my grass type, and the Jynx Seven left me is both ice and psychic. And don't forget the Absol Squalo left me - she's a dark type.

[Clover sighs contentedly, blowing some more on her hot chocolate and taking a sip.]

You're minding balance in your team, huh. [He hasn't bothered. By the time he thought of it he has 534825730 fire types :| ;;]

Yeah, but in the end, it's all up to Pixie.

[He agrees with a nod, and he'll get up to give Pixie and her papa some snacks.]

[Clover appreciates it - and so do Neptune and Pixie. They're chasing each other in circles now, and Pixie will try to duck behind Clover's feet.]

I still sort of want to go for the other badges...it'll give me something else to do.
