[Being told to stay inside the Pokémon Center by a determined Phoenix Wright means that Edgeworth is going to be sitting right by the window making sure the attorney doesn't get hurt.

And Edgeworth is being edgey. Extremely restless -- and there's no furry Growlithe or bouncy Poliwag to calm him down because fhdlskjhf why won't they come out of their Pokéballs?]

Is everyone going through the same thing? The town looks so strange.. and Pess always answered when I call her name, so why won't she come out no matter what I do?

--and those static things. They aren't... ghosts, right?

[Edgeworth turns away from Phoenix acting heroic and fighting the Missingno. outside, and looks at his communicator.]

.....Right?

[Hello Johto, guess who used to be scared of ghosts before he became a demon prosecutor? /headcanon go!]

[[ OOC; ALSO HOLY CRAP THIS BETTER WORK. Spam-posting to make up for the past four posts that I screwed up on posting fffff ]]

Hmm? I... I guess I didn't really think much of it. Uhh...

I'm not sure. I guess we could play... charades, maybe?

Not too fond of that one, huh?

Well, then, how about we just... tell stories or something? Just... you know, fictional stories.

I'm from Tokyo, Japan. I've pretty much lived in the city my whole life, so it's pretty familiar to me even though its so big. There's a lot of tall buildings everywhere. Not too many trees, definitely not like this place. Uhh...

Oh! School is pretty tough where I come from. Especially high school. But college hasn't been that tough. Not compared, anyway.

Los Angeles, huh? I hear its pretty dangerous there... Oh! B-but that's just what I've heard!

W-well, in Japan, you have mandatory schooling up through middle school. When you get into High School, often times you pretty much are expected to just study. And you have to pay tuition most of the time, too. But college... getting in is difficult, but once you're in, it's mostly lectures. Not a lot of homework. And... I pretty much just studied before tests.

I only know about Los Angeles from things in movies and stuff. They make it sound like a pretty rough place. Must have been a tough job...

School is almost stifling here. I thought it was more relaxed in America. How was your school back home, Miles-kun?

Ah, I see. Its been too long since I was in elementary school. I barely remember what went on there myself.

Oh really? I'm sure that was hard to take, being the son of a lawyer and everything.

From: [identity profile] usaginouke.livejournal.com

W-well, maybe that just means we need to start looking for ways to change the court system to get it in gear.

Hmm, I don't see how using occult means could ever be considered valid evidence. Something about... summoning your father's spirit, right? Even if that did work, asking for testimony or whatever seems kind of...

Hmmm.... yeah. I guess they would have to be. I mean, if they're channeling the spirit to ask who killed them, certainly the spirit would be able to give the right answer.
