Er-- good evening, everyone. Pess kept insisting that I make this post and tell everyone that her egg hatched.

[And with that, he pans the camera to show --- the tiniest Growlithe baby in the world, chewing contentedly on Edgeworth's ribbon.]


 

His name is Pip.

And umm.. the holidays are coming up. I personally don't feel so excited about it, but I wanted to ask: what are you planning to get your Pokémon for Christmas?

It is difficult, but a pokemon trainer should know more about their pokemon than anyone else, right? I'm sure you'll think of great presents for each of your pokemon. You just need to think about each of their personalities and even figuring out their likes and dislikes will be helpful too.

He really is tiny. I was worried, at first, but he seems to be all right.. he hatched earlier this week.

His parents were tall, so I'm sure he will.

--ah, no. His mother is my Growlithe, so I wanted to keep at least one of the eggs with her.

Oh! So your Growlithe is Pip's mother! What about his father? Is he in your team?

[She smiles and nods her head.] I understand the feeling too. I'm thinking about breeding my Eevee in the future, so I might do the same for her.

He's another Growlithe, named Sirius, and he's the partner of a friend of mine. We were in Violet together before those missing three days.

[Aaand this is where he seems to lose just a tiny bit of that previous energy. His reasons for keeping Pip with his mother tied in greatly with his own experiences about parents, so thinking about it, especially with Christmas so near, was still a bit painful.]

[Aerith will notice the change of attitude, but she won't pry about it. Instead she will give him a soft smile.]

You're a good kid, Miles. Not many people would be kind enought to let theei pokemon keep one of their children. I'm sure your Growlithe and Pip appreciate your kindness.

[Aerith will turn her pokegear to a sleeping baby Eevee with a red ribbon around her neck.]

I'm going to keep one of her children when she has her first pile of eggs. It feels wrong to seperate her from all of her children.

I hope so too. All I want in this world is to make my pokemon as happy as they can....that's my only wish.

[She looks at Miles and wonders.]

As long as Pip and the other Pokémon enjoy their holidays, that's all I can wish for, and I'll do everything to make sure they have a good Christmas.

[Don't worry, she understand the feeling quite well. She lost her parents when she was younger too.]

That sounds like a really good wish. [And she gets an idea.] Say, where are you now? Maybe you and I can get our pokemon together and do some christmas stuff like making a snowman, carrolling, and other fun things. What do you say?

[The suggestion gets almost an immediate response from Edgeworth's Pokémon, who were lounging around the room. Snow, Miles, snow!

And their trainer nods.] I think I'll have to accept your offer, Miss Aerith.

Great! I'll have to find music sheets and supplies to make a few snowmen too! So much planning to do! Will you be in Goldenrod City during Christmas?

Great! I'm going to Azelea Town in a couple of days to pick up a friend, but I will return to Goldenrod before Christmas. I'll let you know when I'm back in town.

Hmmm... [Aerith thinks about his request for a bit; thinking on what he can do for her.] I got it! Will you be able to find a recipe book at Goldenrod City? It won't be Christmas without baking a few cookies, right? It would be a lot of help if you can find one and tell me the type of cookies you want to bake with me.
