[The video turns on and shows that the boy is standing in a hotel room. The lights are on, and... it looks like the room was in use until just recently. The camera - held in trembling hands - captures the sulking figures of three Pokémon sitting on the messily made bed.]

[Hold on, Luke, your reply will come in a few hours' time -- after the initial shock of Gumshoe's disappearance had worn off, Edgeworth had felt unbelievably tired and... sad. Wary, frightened almost, of the little machine that he wore around his wrist.

When he replies, the Pokégear is sitting somewhere-- a windowsill, most likely, and Edgeworth is sitting beside it, snow falling from the gray sky outside the hotel room window.]
