Sure, in his time, Edgeworth has just recently dropped out of his life like a bowling ball from an airplane. Really, he should be calling Edgeworth a hyprocrite for saying this -- and probably would, were he still bitter about it.

But...well, he HAD sorted things out with the older Edgeworh. Sort of.

And, besides, who's to say that Miles won't learn from this, too? How DID their Johto adventure affect their lives back at home?

[Unfortunately, as long as Edgeworth is ignorant to the kind of prosecutor he becomes, he will forever be unaware of his second disappearance. Chances are, if he did find out, he might turn more cynical than his canon self would ever be.]

[He doesn't pull away from Phoenix, even though he doesn't.. really acknowledge the hug, either. He just sits there, quiet. He felt guilty... he knew Phoenix was hiding things about his future still, but... so was he, now.]
