[Excuse him as his frown turns deeper and he glares. Miles himself had gone through some pretty bad moments of depression. Especially since coming to Johto; finding out about his future wasn't the easiest thing... and he sometimes wished there was an alternative. Turning back time, maybe he can save his father if he knew all this back then.
But he had never -- would never -- wonder about what would have happened if he wasn't born.]
Just because were born, Misaki, does not mean that your brother was fated to stop going to school, or that your parents were doomed to die. That's just stupid -- and I think you know that better than anyone!

He knows how you feel, and while he respects your right to be confused (because it was only meeting people from his future that forced him to stop looking back), he doesn't want you living the rest of your life like this either.]
What's in the past won't ever come back, and you can't change it. The only thing you can do... the only thing we can do is to move on and find a different way to atone for what we did.
