[Forward-Dated to THE MORNING OF DECEMBER 25TH because mun will be posting on the 28th and we won't need a three-day spam]
[It'sFORWARD DATED Chriiiiiiiiistmas time -- and guess whose Pokémon gdmit Pip has set up a certain ten-year-old's alarm to go off singing about unicorns and rainbows at seven o'clock in the morning, at top volume, the video feed turning on when the panicked boy's hand smacks the Gear in an attempt to turn it off?
Miles Edgeworth. Ken, I hope you enjoy getting that music getting stuck in your head again.
Said music, which Miles fails to turn off the first time, is still blaring across the room until a groggy face appears on screen and, with the most grumpiest grumble ever, Miles slams it off.]
....I am never going to get that out of my head anymore.
[Siiiiiiiiiiiiigh. Hoping against hope that the racket didn't wake up his roommate, Miles rubs the sleep of his eyes and picks up his gear, still unaware of it recording, and looks around his bed, which was the in its usual state of absolute chaos, with nearly a dozen different Pokémon snoozing on it. The couch may have been small for Phoenix, but the lawyer definitely had more space there than Miles did, as he only had Lady the Furret ever sleeping on him.
And so far, Pip was the only one awake. Miles can be seen giving everyone else a look of "what the fuck is wrong with you." ]
How do any of you sleep through that that was terrible, I mean ---
......What are you eating, Pip is that a banana?
[Indeed it was. Happy holidays, Eleventh Doc.]
......I don't even--
[It's at this moment that there's a small, muffled sound coming from where the door would be. Sounding suspiciously like an irritated person struggling under a whole bunch of luggage, it takes a while for the muffled noises to turn into a sharp series of raps on the hotel room door. As Phoenix was still (somehow) snoring away on his couch along with the rest of the Pokémon, Miles, tripping over blubber and spiders, scrambles out of the bed with his Gear and shuffles over to open the door -- to come face-to-face with a BOX MONSTER.
Except not really.]
D-delivery for Mr. Wright and Mr. Edgeworth! [ is what the bellboy stutters out before he tilts dangerously forward, and Edgeworth only barely manages to jump out of the way before the man almost drops the luggage onto the floor.. almost. The bellboy is still careful enough to make sure nothing hit the floor with too much force. He does look extremely irritated, though, because -- poor guy -- it was only seven o'clock on Christmas morning and he's experienced what this day is like for as long as he's been working here. ] Happy holidays.
.....Right. Thank you.
[With a tip of his hat and a deep grimace, the bellboy closes the door and disappears... and Miles eyes the pile of stuff with the greatest amount of "WHAT TO DO" ]
....I better get this out of the way, first.
[And he sets the Gear down to start moving the boxes. Noticing then that the feed was on, he blinks, gives a short wave, and turns it off]
[TIME SKIPEVEN MORE FORWARD DATING another two hours.]
[After all the boxes were sorted out and put in a corner, Miles turns the feed back on, this time not in his pajamas, but happily clad in a.. different outfit from his usual red suit thing. A new brown sweater from Merlin (though rather large on the tiny kid) is resting snugly on his shoulders as Miles shrugs on his father's old jacket, and he's grinning -- grinning.]
Merlin! I-- I got your sweater! [ :DDD ] Um, thanks so much, Merlin.
[He's also already gotten some hot chocolate made, and Kay's mug is sitting on the bedside table proudly -- with the notebook from the Professor, the fountain pens, Vera's storybook, and Kaito's... joke book beside it. He's actually read that joke book already, and he's giving the camera a bit of a grimace as he points to it.]
Mr. Kuroba... I don't understand that book... [ :c ;;; ]
A-and um-- thanks you for all this food. [Because seriously why does he have like two huge cakes he doesn't even-- ] I-I don't know if I'll be able to eat it all but---
Growli---ARCANINE---
[ .......what.]
Pess what are you--
..........Oh god what did you do.
[Johto, say hello to SIX-FOOT-TALL DOG-LION-TIGER-THING SUDDENLY NUZZLING HER TRAINER. Yup. Phoenix had gotten Miles' Pokémon a Fire Stone... and she accidentally came across it. Suddenly her face is three times as big as Miles'. ]
Now you really need to get out of the habit of tackling me to the ground...
.....Er.
Happy holidays, everyone! [ /)__(\ ;;; ]
[And the feed cuts off as Miles starts clearing up all his wrapping paper.]
[OOC; Miles can be reached all day today via video, text, and audio -- as for action: you can either visit his room, or if you call him out of the hotel he'll come bouncing out into the city in his new attire. :) btw, Ken is not obligatory.]

Date: 2010-12-21 07:14 pm (UTC)I don't understand why Pokémon do that.
...Pess has made me fall off a ledge before, too.
Twice, actually, but no one needs to know about the second time.(no subject)

Date: 2010-12-21 07:18 pm (UTC)I guess you should just stay away from ledges, then. Those things are really dangerous, especially when you have Pokémon near you. I know three other people who've fallen down them..

Date: 2010-12-21 07:23 pm (UTC)--Oh!
I spoke with the professor earlier, and he said you can come, too, when we go see the ruins. I'm not sure when that will be, though..

Date: 2010-12-21 07:48 pm (UTC)But it's best to tell her what you're doing, since she's been taking care of you, right?
I make sure I tell Phoenix what I'm doing or where I'm going, unless it's somewhere I usually go.

....Do you hate her for it?
