[ The thing is, it usually doesn't rain so much in Miles' world that the ground under his feet gets flooded by five inches of water. When it does though, tall folks of Johto, you must realize that five inches is a big deal for someone who's tiny and only four and a half feet tall. It means that you're shin-deep and your shoes are dead and you're miserable.

Let me repeat that: miserable.

So guess who's miserable today on his way back from work? That's right - (1) Miles Edgeworth. So let's get on with today's post and see how much scowling he'll do.

So today's episode of Shotas in Johto...

has only one shota in it.

What it does have is a pair of grey-haired boys ( one ridiculously tall and one ridiculously short ), Johto's Atrocious Weather™, and ribbons. The screen is shaking a lot because Souji's running, holding Miles under one arm, and Miles is holding the Plusle that's holding the camera-- so the screen is shaking. You get a nice eyeful of two miserable looking, soaking boys and a dark, dark grey sky.

And rain. And thunder. And more miserable looking boys.

Until they CRASH DIVE (or at least Souji dives) into the warm, bright, and dry café. ]

... Mr. Seta, was that really necessary?

[ Remus straightens the camera as his trainer is lowered to his feet, one pair of grey eyes looking skeptically at another pair of laughing ones. Souji just shruuuuuuugs. ]

Do you want something to drink?

[ Grey-haired people have a thing for shrugging, which is what Miles does in response to Souji's question. ] I think I'll have some tea...

[ And so it's ADVENTURE TIME FRIDAY getting warmed up time! Their shoes squishy-squashy-squick-squishing on the café floor, Miles and Souji make their way to the counter, Remus hopping on Miles' shoulder to continue recording, and also to get a cup of tea out of this trip by acting cute around Souji.

The lady at the counter smiles. :DDD ]

Terrible weather, isn't it? What would you like to drink to warm up?

[ Souji is smiling too! Miles is a bit too sulky about the weather to smile back, so when Remus hops onto the counter and turns the camera on him, he's scowling a bit, and a bit too short to be seen over the counter by a cashier lady that's too busy staring UP at Souji. I repeat: four-foot-five. ]

Just coffee - I'd like it black - and tea, please... what kind do you want?

Ceylon is fine.

[ It is only then that the cashier notices Miles. And this is when the countdown to Why Miles Edgeworth's Life Is Full Of WTF #xxx begins. ]

[ 3. ]

...Oh! [ 2. ] Is that [ 1. ] your sister? [ 0. ]

[ (1) Miles Edgeworth cocks an eyebrow. (1) Souji Seta blinks, and slowly turns to Miles, who turns back to him.

There is silence, then Souji's face twitches like it's suppressing a smile and then-- ]

She might b--ow!

[ Remus tilts the camera down to the floor to show that Miles' shoe had slammed painfully into Souji's shin. ]

....I mean. April Fool's. He's a boy.

[ Miles glares at Souji and then at Remus. ]

Turn. It. Off.

Oh! I went there with my Pokemon once and they did a good job on Choco's hair! [Even though it is a Mareep and shocking. :| That's quality right there.]

I took Pess with me, but I didn't know they weren't just for Pokémon.

Me neither! My hair is getting kind of long too so maybe I should go back sometime...[She shrugs] Right! How was your birthday? Did you have a good time?

Ah- yes. It was fun.

I remember when I was your age and my friend Fang and the other kids would all pitch in on making a meal and we would play all day. [She laughs] It sure was nice to be a kid! Do you do that kind of thing in your world? Or ...Maybe you have a different ritual for birthdays?

[It had looked the same but well...Cocoon did certain things similarly to Gran Pulse and they were completely different.]

I didn't really celebrate.

When my father was alive, he'd take me to the park or the movies, but I didn't have any friends to celebrate with.

I spent time with my friends this year..

It was back home, that I didn't celebrate. It's different here.

Phew! You should make sure to be with your friends as much as you can. [You never know when they will completely disappear on you leaving you to sleep alone in a scary world with strange creatures in it. And then there's Johto. :|] Because when you grow up you have too many responsibilities. ...That's what the elders always said anyway!

[Cause yeah. Wasn't nothing splitting her and Fang up.]
