[ And the feeling is heavy as he closes his gear for just a moment. Lifting himself up from the chair he was sitting on, Miles begins to walk... outside of the hotel room, down the hall and out of the hotel, through the city.

He comes to a stop at the railing overlooking the ocean before, opening his gear again, he sends out a message to the network. ]

He has really bad luck.

He's a defense attorney. I don't know much about how his job is. I guess he's good at it... but he trusts people too easily.

I can see how that would be a problem.

It's important for a defense attorney to trust his client. Until the very end, a lawyer must be that one person who'll trust his client until the end. That's what my father used to say, anyway.

With Phoenix... he'd nearly been murdered by someone he tried to give a second chance to, back in Violet City last autumn. I'm not really sure how his judgement is.
