[Forward-dated to late Saturday morning, around 10:00 AM.]

[Good morning, Route! It's been a while since Edgeworth's last post to the network, and this time, too, it doesn't seem like he's the one making the actual post, because the kid's Pokémon seem to be more enthusiastic about the camera thing than he is.

Today, despite not having hands, Tadpole the Poliwag has figured out a way to use his trainer's Pokégear -- using his tail. Tadpole now is carrying the gear atop his head in what looks like a room in the Violet Pokémon Center. The camera keeps moving around and around at a dizzy pace because the creature is, well, pacing. Rather anxiously. On occasion, he would stop and cry up at his trainer, who is sitting on his bed, knees drawn up and a blanket tossed over his body.

Every once in a while, Edgeworth would cough or sneeze, then shiver and pull the blanket around himself tighter. Only a few people may realize why, but it seems the boy caught a... pretty bad cold while stalking Phoenix and Dahlia, but SHH THEY DON'T KNOW. Maybe.

The Poliwag continues to call out. ]

Waag!

---I'm all right, Tadpole, just keep it down, all right?

[With a tired, dreary sigh, Edgeworth raises his head and looks down at the camera. He's a real mess, though he does have a tiny shine of accomplishment in his eyes.]

It seems that my jacket wasn't sufficient enough in keeping me warm for the whole time, but...at least no harm came to him, right, Miss Iris? [And he gives a tired but rather triumphant smile. Phoenix apparently got through his rendezvous with Dahlia physically unharmed!]

[At this point, Phoenix is so freaked out about Iris and Dahlia that he could probably care less about what Apollo did or not did.

Still, again, that is not important right now. He nods, grinning a bit.]

Alright. I'll go run by the Mart, and then I'll head straight over. [And then, a bit muffled, as he reaches to switch off the feed;] C'mon, Pess, let's g--Butch, slow down, this isn't a race!

~ TWENTY MINUTES LATER ~

[--aaaand here's a knock on your door!] Edgeworth? You still alive in there?

[And, right behind Pess, Phoenix shoulders the door open, carefully balancing a few blankets, cold medicine, and what looks like...a bowl of soup? He laughs a bit at Pess's reaction, setting the stack of stuff down on Miles's bedside table before reaching over to pry Pess off of Miles. Only enough so that she isn't suffocating him, though, because I'm pretty sure she'd refeuse to leave his bed.]

You should have seen her in the Mart. We almost got kicked out. [Here, have a grin.]

I got you some medicine, and a few more blankets...I also picked up some instant soup, and, uh...the nurse downstairs said she could fix it up for me, so, er...yeah. [He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly.]

[Miles, you are not helping Phoenix's stress level right now. Just saying. He trots over to settle himself on the other end of Miles's bed, giving the boy an incredibly concerned look.]

You really should lie down. Or something...

Right...your nightmares.

[Phoenix falls silent. He'd meant to explain everything about Gregory Edgeworth's murder much earlier than this, but...given the recent fiasco, he hadn't found the chance.

But now...]

...of course.

[He...is not going to comment on the phantom thief bit. Right now, he can't get himself distracted, because if there's going to be any time where he'll tell Miles the truth about his father, it'll be now.]

...you never killed anyone.

[It came out softer than he expected it to, but the truth in his words is no less powerful.] And I proved it. In court. I proved your nightmare wrong.

[The relief on his face relieves Phoenix, as well, and he takes a breath before beginning to explain just HOW he'd proven his nightmare wrong.]

I already told you that the gun was fired twice. The first time it was shot...was when you threw it. That was not the bullet that took your father's life, Edgeworth.

It...it went through the glass of the elevator door, instead.
