[So what's Edgeworth up to today? Well... he was catching Butch and Tadpole, who thought it would be a wonderful way to exercise if they stole Edgeworth's Pokégear and run all over Violet. And that's how they spent the day today! Pess, being a good girl, is off visiting Phoenix at the Pokémon Center.

And Edgeworth had just caught up to the two Pokémon. But wait. This isn't Violet anymore. The moment the Gear stops shaking like crazy, the camera manages to focus on..... the inside of an elevator?

Unfortunately, Edgeworth doesn't notice until the doors close behind him.]

Oh god... [And the feed cuts off as Edgeworth drops his gear, suddenly feeling sick to his stomach.]

I was involved in a case related to the ritual not too long ago by my time. People who once doubted its power who witnessed the final day of the trial...eventually believed.

I still choose the power of logic over any supernatural belief, but...once all impossible options were eliminated in our investigation and the trial, what remained had to be the truth.

Iris, as you may already know, was accused of murdering Elise Deauxnim, supposedly an author of children's books...

[He pauses, his hand on his forehead as if trying to smooth back his hair a la Gregory.]

On the night of the murder, Maya Fey, Wright's assistant, ended up stranded when lightning set a bridge on fire. Wright tried to save her, but ended up falling into the river below.

It certainly has. I have been informed of a case in which a cardboard badge fooled the audiece, the prosecutor in charge, and even the judge. [Don't worry, Littleworth, we're getting to that part.]

I, on the other hand, had to contact another prosecutor who would not call any attention to me, and make sure that a judge who has only seen me once before would preside over the trial.
