010 [video] Fourth wall event!
Nov. 27th, 2010 12:14 am---Gotcha.
[So what's Edgeworth up to today? Well... he was catching Butch and Tadpole, who thought it would be a wonderful way to exercise if they stole Edgeworth's Pokégear and run all over Violet. And that's how they spent the day today! Pess, being a good girl, is off visiting Phoenix at the Pokémon Center.
And Edgeworth had just caught up to the two Pokémon. But wait. This isn't Violet anymore. The moment the Gear stops shaking like crazy, the camera manages to focus on..... the inside of an elevator?
Unfortunately, Edgeworth doesn't notice until the doors close behind him.]
......Huh?
....W-where am I...?
[Panic settling in three, two, one.....]
Oh god... [And the feed cuts off as Edgeworth drops his gear, suddenly feeling sick to his stomach.]
[[ooc; FFFFF I hate writer's block, especially those that hit at the best moments. =u= ;; But anyway, a shorter, less depressfail version of Edgeworth's fourth wall event, that I definitely like better. Action posts to people in the department store, on the fourth floor, which is where Edgeworth will THROW HIMSELF OUT OF THE ELEVATOR BECAUSE OH GOD TRAUMA, and video/audio/text responses will come about an hour later, once the kid calms down and feels better! c: Responses will be slow-- I'll probably be busy both Saturday and Sunday until the evening. =w= ;;
Butch used with permission from Phoenix Wright mun
cheapblusuits! I think Phoenix is in possession of Pess and her egg for this weekend, as well. ]]

Because Pess obviously has more class than "Shoe". |D b also yeah -- Mia got accepted *A*
Date: 2010-12-22 06:15 pm (UTC)[At his older self's words - his own words - Miles... falls silent. What he was told wasn't completely unexpected - if he was raised by Manfred von Karma, it was plausible, after all - but hearing it spoken like this was... well.
It hurt.
He knew it was going to happen, and he was... hoping, that maybe he'd have enough will not to succumb to hate, but he was apparently wrong, and disappointment in himself was inevitable. Lowering his gaze to his feet, he clenches his hands tightly, gritting his teeth.]
......because you thought you killed him.
[Is the only thing he says.]
Seriously, of all the names...WHY PESS? And OMG YAYYYY
Date: 2010-12-23 07:13 am (UTC)...yes. [He doesn't know how to make you feel better because he's socially awkward and inexperienced that way, but his voice is soft and level.]
It was also to punish myself. And I...I began to hate defense attorneys. I defeated each one I faced in court.
That is, of course, until I met Wright again. He kept on fighting no matter what I threw at him, and I lost for the first time.
BUT PESS IS SUCH A CUTE NAME s-setting up her journal tomorrow I SWEAR o9 ;;
Date: 2010-12-23 07:20 am (UTC)....I bet you were pretty vexed, then, when he beat you.
After all, he was such a crybaby, and we weren't supposed to meet him ever again.
[The last thing he wants is to have his older self make him feel better about anything. Sorry, Bigworth, but you're the last man he ever wants to be. He regards the man with... a rather twisted smile, slowly getting disgusted by the future he would have lived, and... still able to understand why this could have happened. ]
Yeah, but do you think he could've used another name? XD AND OH YES OH YES I APPROVE
Date: 2010-12-23 02:14 pm (UTC)...Yes, I was.
It was as if everything started to change when I began facing Wright in court. And then, of course, he chose to represent me when I became the defendant in a case.
That was when I learned...to trust in a man I initially considered my "enemy" in the courtroom.
[Bigworth wouldn't blame him; it's not a pretty picture, the life he's been living ever since. But at least he got better. Would Tinyworth like to hear that part though?]
When I first heard "Pess" I thought he named her "Pest" and I LAUGHED. SO. HARD. && YEAAAAH. \o/
Date: 2010-12-23 07:41 pm (UTC)[Miles could assume easily that his older self's twisted doings may have been influenced by Manfred von Karma. After what he'd heard from Phoenix and Gumshoe, it was entirely reasonable, he thought. Besides. If he'd continued to believe that he killed Gregory, he would most definitely have ended up like this too. He was sure of it.
But even then.]
...........Were you able to change?
AHAHAHA PEST. I can't imagine Edgey naming ANYTHING "Pest".
Date: 2010-12-24 03:37 am (UTC)...Yes. When I returned to the courts, I began working for the truth - working with the defense instead of hindering their efforts. I no longer cared about perfect records or victories; what mattered was the truth.
[Don't worry, your older self is a lot less twisted now (and he's least twisted in AAI for sure). How would you feel if you met Bratworth instead?]
No, he wouldn't have. xD He's too nice for that... >___>
Date: 2010-12-24 06:34 am (UTC).........So you just reverted back to the way we both were before our father died, basically.
[The initial shock has passed. THIS IS ALL HE HAS TO SAY.]
I think he wouldn't do it even if he was at the Bratworth stage. XD
Date: 2010-12-24 09:25 am (UTC)I suppose one might say that. I now know what it means to be a "prosecutor" and what my role is in the search of truth.
[Except for the part where he remains a frilly prosecutor, yes. At least Bigworth had a happy ending, Tinyworth!]
I doubt it. xD He's not a cruel person at all. ;u;
Date: 2010-12-24 09:29 am (UTC)....I'm glad to hear that. [I'm glad to know that I don't turn into someone like von Karma had..... He'd been so scared of that.]
Bratworth was just...a stuck-up jerk. But he ain't cruel.
Date: 2010-12-24 03:16 pm (UTC)Psychology IS fun. XD I think Edgeworth was the reason why I took my essay on PTSD really seriously. I thought of him the entire time while I was having my exam. ^^;;;]
Which is why I no longer follow the von Karma creed. I have Wright to thank for that.
[MAN I swear I can't wait for Littleworth to find out that even as a prosecutor, he still gets defense attorney moments!]
Nope. :T I think Phoenix said some meaner things xD
Date: 2010-12-24 07:15 pm (UTC)...But I don't understand. Why would he have done so much? After all... we disappeared without a word, with no intention to see him again. Why would he do so much for you - for us- after fifteen years?
[Everything about bigworth = brain break. >____> ]]
Phoenix was very hostile at the beginning of 2-4 XD GO DIE IN A FIRE, EDGEWORTH.
Date: 2010-12-26 01:00 pm (UTC)And this is why I fangirled him at first sight, sob.]
Because he believed in us...after all, he wanted to follow us after we disappeared, and was ready to face us in court if he had to.
We also know him to pursue his goals obstinately, correct?
[The brain break has only just begun, I'm sorry, Littleworth.]
I NEVER WANTED TO SEE YOU AGAIN. I THOUGHT YOU DIED. /G-god that Phoenix was just MEAAN 8|
Date: 2010-12-26 01:35 pm (UTC)That... is what I don't understand. Why did he believe, for so long?
Way to greet your BFF after he's had the realization of his life...
Date: 2010-12-27 02:21 am (UTC)...
[BRB thinking. Actually, even he doesn't know exactly why. And he knew Phoenix for...seventeen years! Even if much of that was lost thanks to DL-6. And Manfred.]
To be honest...I do not completely understand his single-minded pursuit either. That has been Wright's nature...
[Whether big or small, it seems, Edgeworth can never fully grasp how single-minded Phoenix was.]
I know right? Totes tactful to the max. /sarcasm
Date: 2010-12-27 02:28 am (UTC)It reminded me of Dad, around the time when I first met Wright here..
[Phoenix: madly honest yet so obscure]
I thought Phoenix was going to punch him. -_-
Date: 2010-12-27 09:38 am (UTC)Wright...reminded you of our father?
[Even until AJ?]
I thought he might steal Franzy's whip and attack with it. =w=
Date: 2010-12-27 10:07 am (UTC)Just a bit, once or twice.... by now I can't even remember why..
[................Until he loses his badge.]
Ohhhh no, Franzy won't let him touch the whip. Unless he's getting whipped by it.
Date: 2010-12-27 02:32 pm (UTC)I think our father...would have been proud to see Wright defend.
[SOB. Whyyyyyyy did he have to lose it.
And, not saying anything about whether or not Daddy would be proud of his son growing up to become...a prosecutor.]
pffft. Franziska can't share, can she! 8(
Date: 2010-12-27 11:19 pm (UTC)BEST TEAM EVER?]...I think he would have been, too.
Wright's followed him much more than us, after all..
If it's her whip - no wait, she probably wouldn't share her Swiss rolls either.
Date: 2010-12-28 06:24 am (UTC)...I know the path I have chosen to walk. Whether we are on the defense or the prosecution side, we can still work toward the truth...toward justice.
[I'm suddenly reminded of the plot of GK2.]
....She can't share anything with anyone. 8(
Date: 2010-12-28 07:01 am (UTC).......Justice, huh.
I just don't want anybody to get hurt because of me anymore.
[......Well. When I played Pokémon Black its plot reminded me of Edgeworth's life story from DL-6 to the end of SL-9. There's familiarity everywhere. xD ]
She does share the many ways she uses the word "fool".
Date: 2010-12-29 08:44 am (UTC)...
[Have a...sympathetic look from your older self, Miles. He doesn't know how to put it, but he agrees. After all, everyone went through a lot during State vs. Edgeworth, but they still continued working for his acquittal...]
[WHY. I remember this review center for hopeful nursing students...it was called "Edgeworth". No joke.]
...true.
Date: 2010-12-29 09:02 am (UTC)I'm sorry.
If... if I pull through with what I plan to do, you... probably won't exist anymore.
[WELL I know streets named "Wright Avenue" and "Phoenix Drive" too, so... |D ;; ]
And Manfred shared his ATM number, which was 0001. XDDDD
Date: 2010-12-29 09:25 am (UTC)/...FLIPS A TABLE SADLY if that is possible]
...If I am truly your...future self, then I will exist no matter what path you choose to take. Of course, I will most certainly become a different person if you manage to return home with this knowledge in your hands.
["Maya" is also the Filipino word for "sparrow". XD And "maya-maya" is a type of fish, I think.]
....Was there a pun behind it? xD (In Japanese it was 4649)
Date: 2010-12-29 10:24 am (UTC)and yes it's probably possible.]
......And.. how do you feel, about that? [The tiny child steps towards his older self, reaching up, as if trying to grasp at this "future" that stood before him.
Was he... seeking comfort?
From himself?
He would never be sure.]
[ff I see.. xD Oh Ace Attorney and its puns.]
It's just 0001 because he's number one. XD What IS the pun behind yon-roku-yon-kyuu? Or is it shi?
From:"4649" can be read as "yo-ro-shi-ku" or "Nice to meet you" xD
From:AHAHA I didn't see that coming. Oh, Manfred. /has a classmate named Manfred
